How does my library become a Palace Project Partner?

Joining Palace:

• Becoming a Palace Partner is available to all public libraries in Washington
• Contact WSL:  jude.guzzy@sos.wa.gov and let us know you are interested
• We will contact Lyrasis to notify them and provide your contact information
• Lyrasis will contact you and send you a short form to fill out about your system
• You will need to provide the following information:
  • Point of contact name and email 
  • List of other staff involved in the project 
  • ILS Information 
  • Collection Information 
  • Patron support email address 
  • Library logo 
  • Barcode prefix and test barcode/pin with lending privileges 
  • Whitelist support@thepalaceproject.org email address
• Return the form to Lyrasis 

Rollout:

• Lyrasis will contact you to configure your Collection Manager and Marketplace 
• Once your library is configured, you'll be notified with a welcome email and instructions on how to access the Palace administrative dashboard for your library
• Dedicated support team:  support@thepalaceproject.org
• You'll get an invitation to our community Hub where you can access read-to-use marketing materials and other resources to help promote Palace
• Dedicated YouTube channel for training at your own pace:  Palace YouTube Channel

Launch:

• Lyrasis will get you up and running in no time
• You are in control of testing and deciding when to launch to your patrons
• Create your own lists and lanes (and share!)
• Buy ebooks/audiobooks from the distributor giving you the best licensing terms

Payment:

The Washington State Library will pay for the following services when a library becomes a Palace Partner:
1.  Setup and Configuration Fee ($2,000)
2.  Annual Hosting Fees for three (3) years (varies by library size)
