Washington State Library Digital Skills Assessment

This guide provides content about digital skills assessments led by the Washington State Library, beginning in state fiscal year 2023.

Preparation & Procurement Activities

In preparation for this study, the State Library:

  • Hired researchers to conduct a literature review, including benchmark studies in the field. 
  • Convened an Advisory Board comprised of Digital Equity workers from a multitude of sectors across the state.
  • The WSL team used this research and input from the advisory board to inform the request for proposals.
