School Age Services Conversation
Facilitator: Sara White
Come together with your school-age serving library colleagues for a time to focus on elementary-schoolers! You’ll have the opportunity to talk about successes and challenges, as well as ask each other questions and idea-share.. Please come prepared to participate -- this YS3C session will be a facilitated conversation and your involvement will be the session’s momentum! Think about the following questions:
1. What challenges have you come across recently in library services for school-age kids (K-5th grade-ish)?
2. What are the biggest needs you see in your school-age patrons?
3. What recent successes have you had in services for school-age kids?
4. What professional development do you wish you had in serving school-age kids?
5. What questions do you have for each other?
