Washington State Library Circulating STEAM Kits
Supported by funding provided by the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the Library Services and Technology Act, through the Washington State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State.

The Strawbees construction kit provides over 4000 pieces, enough for an entire classroom of students. Build a large cityscape, a long rollercoaster track for a ball to run through, or a pyramid structure taller than the teacher; your students are only limited by their imagination! The kit comes with the easier Strawbees Inventor cards, which have creative prompts for using the kit's straws and connectors. Incorporate these into your lessons or use your own prompts, whether it's asking students to invent something to get a book's main character out of a mess or challenging your classroom to think like engineers and build a space station for Mars.
NOTE: Laptops/Computers are not included in this kit.
