The Microsoft Learn for Educators program for technical skilling enables you to bring MOC and instructor-led training materials into a classroom or workshop setting. Eligible educators and faculty members at colleges, universities, community colleges, polytechnics, and secondary schools can access Microsoft ready-to-teach curriculum and teaching materials aligned to industry-recognized Microsoft Certifications. These certifications augment a student's existing academic path and validate the skills needed to be successful across a variety of technical careers.
While this content is geared towards educators, it is free and available for the general public as well.
On December 30, 2022, Microsoft transitioned their Imagine Academy program into Microsoft Learn. All participating libraries were notified of the transition, and instructed to download any remaining MISA vouchers by December 31, 2022. Those MSIA-provided vouchers are set to expire on October 31st, 2023.
From November 2013 through December 2022, the Washington State Library partnered with Microsoft Imagine Academy to provide Washington state residents free access to high quality online learning resources for Microsoft Office (productivity) applications, computer science, data science, IT infrastructure, and developer resources. WSL in partnership with Microsoft, provided Microsoft Official Academic Course e-textbooks, and Study Guides, plus accompanying assessments and practice files to support learners.
