Public Library Patrons throughout Washington have FREE access to LinkedIn Learning with a library card!

• LinkedIn Learning is a website offering free online video tutorials from industry experts on technology, business practices, and creative techniques.  Learn on your computer, mobile device, or TV. 
• Start where you are comfortable: You can learn at your own pace using courses that are relevant to your present level of ability. 
• Learn almost anything from Advanced Python to Jazz Piano!
• Choose videos as needed or use one of thier learning paths to prepare for an industry certification! 
• Explore all content that will prep you for industry-specific certifications.
• Explore learning paths and courses specific to certifications offered through the state library.

• LOGIN WITH LOCAL LIBRARY CARD

1. Go to your library's website to access via the link on thier website OR find the link to your local library's LinkedIn learning page on the table below.

2. Login with your library card number 4-digit PIN

3. Access over 16,000 courses in 7 languages

• LOGIN WITH STATE LIBRARY CARD

  1. Go to the LinkedIn Learning Patron Login page for Washington State Library cardholders.

  2. Enter the Barcode for your Washington State Library Card.  Don't have one, then visit here to apply.

  3. Enter Your Personal Identification Number (PIN).  The default should be the last four digits of the telephone number you provided to the State Library.

  • If the PIN for your card doesn't work, please contact us at circ@sos.wa.gov and we will reset the number. 

  • Please contact the library of origin to reset the PIN on other cards.

  • You can access LinkedIn Learning on a mobile device.  Please see the list below to locate your library's mobile login information.

  Access to LinkedIn Learning from Washington State Library is for public & Tribal library patrons with a library card . 

• Login to LinkedIn learning using your library card number and your 4-digit PIN

• Login on a PC: Login via your library's website OR Locate your county in the table below for the library's LinkedIn Page.

• Login with a mobile device:  Go to your library's  LinkedIn page, enter your library card number, and when prompted, enter your LinkedIn code (listed below) for mobile access.

• Get an eCard from the State Library to use LinkedIn Learning and other State Library online resources if you don't have a local library card.
