Proctors will provide the candidate the link to apply for any needed accommodation: https://certiport.pearsonvue.com/Educator-resources/Exam-policies/Administration. Certiport does not publicly share the complete list of requests that can be approved. It is on a case-by-case basis. Candidates may be approved for medical, physical, and emotional disabilities. They can also be approved if English is a second language and the selected exam is unavailable in their first language.
The accommodation process is between Certiport and the patron only. The approval process takes 6-10 business days. The approval documents will be emailed directly to the patron. The document will contain the expiration date of the accommodation and the length of the time extension. Most candidates are approved for 100% additional time.
Once the paperwork is submitted, the patron must contact Certiport at 1-888-999-9830 for status checks.
Accommodations are applied to the patron Certiport username and cannot be transferred to a new Certiport username without the assistance of Certiport. If a patron applies for an accommodation and creates a new Certiport username, the accommodation will not apply to the new Certiport account.
Proctoring staff will not discuss the patron's needs directly with them for privacy purposes.
